Products available for purchase on Dogs of Distinction website include those suitable for use by cats and dogs and appropriate goods which may be worn or used by pet owners or pet admirers.

Cancellation of an order

Once an order has been entered on our system by clicking the Purchase 'Pay Now' button you cannot cancel your order for any other reason other than if the product is out of stock, you wish it to be back-ordered or if it has been discontinued. Should this occur we will e-mail you and offer an alternative solution to you. If none of the above is acceptable for good reason, we will accept a cancellation.

All transactions are in Australian Dollars.

Freight and costs

We will dispatch your order within 5-7 working days, providing the item is in stock and not discontinued. We use freight companies who will deliver your order in the best possible condition and as quickly as the distances involved allow. The cost of delivery depends on the weight of the order, the destination and the customer's timing requirements. NO DELIVERIES WILL BE MADE TO A POST OFFICE BOX AND ALL DELIVERIES MUST BE SIGNED FOR BY A PERSON OVER THE AGE OF 18 YEARS. A variety of delivery options will be used including registered post, metropolitan courier or interstate/intrastate freight companies. Should a customer request special delivery, please call us, fax us or e-mail us and we will oblige to the best of our ability. Average freight costs may be seen by clicking on to Shipping Information/Costs on the site. Any unforeseen delay in delivery will result in the customer being notified by fax, or e-mail and an option for refund will be discussed.

Returns

Return of goods must be made with a RETURNS GOODS FORM AND RETURN AUTHORISATION NUMBER. Please contact us for these items. Goods must be returned within 7 working days, be in original condition, unwashed and unworn in their original unopened packaging. Goods which have been opened, 'tried on' or sold on a 'no returns basis' cannot be returned, unless faulty by a manufacturers fault. We do not accept returns which show physical damage to the product or its packaging, has not a valid return authorisation number or has a return authorisation number which has expired. Goods returned must be SENT BY REGISTERED POST OR CERTIFIED MAIL. Dogs of Distinction accepts no responsibility for loss or damage occurring in transit for return to us. Costs incurred by returning goods must be borne by the customer and cannot be credited.

Returns take approximately 7-10 working days to process form the date of receipt of goods by Dogs of Distinction. (Seasonally busy times of the year, Christmas, New Year, Valentines Day, Easter and unforeseeable freight strikes are the exceptions.) Customers will be notified by phone, fax or e-mail should delays occur.
